Oh boy, have you ever seen such a handsome cat? Yellow is my color, don't you think? I didn't get any yummy treats from the luau, but I did get this lovely yellow lei.
Hi! My name is Inky and I'm a black Manx cat. I'm a lucky little fellow, although early last January (2008) I wasn't sure I would even survive. You see, I was abandoned. My front claws were removed, so I couldn't even catch my own dinner. I lived on birdseed, since that's what I found below bird feeders as I tried to catch my own food. I was sure skinny and starved. Many nights I spent alone in freezing rain, so I hid away wherever I could find a safe place. Coyotes, javelinas and a gray fox wandered the park in search of a tasty meal like me. My former people were probably RVers, since I was found in an RV park, and maybe they had to leave without me. Still, they never even left a message with staff about me being missing, and they never called back to see if I had been found. But that's all in the past now. The scary times are over. Now I'm at home in another RV, and my new people play with me and let me sun myself on the dashboard of our motorhome. Six months after my former people had failed to show up, my new people microchipped me so that if I ever get lost again, a Vet can scan me to reunite me with them again. Now that's true love! P-u-r-r-r-r.
