After two days of traveling, we're finally in Eastern Washington. And guess what--it's raining!!! Can't a cuddly little kitty get away from all this rain? Could this be why they call Washington the Evergreen State. Should be the "Ever-Gray State" if they ask me!
The trip was mostly uneventful, and I hung out on the bed in the back of the motorhome where it was nice and cozy. Now I go there automatically when the motorhome starts up. It was very warm and sunny for the entire two-day trip.
We stopped in Moses Lake and my people met their friends who live there for dinner, then went to see their new home and their dog, Benji. Of course, I was left home to wonder whether I would ever see them again. After all, they had drug me for 200 miles that day and I didn't have a clue where I was, or whether they knew where we were. For all I knew they just drove and drove, then stopped in a strange place in the middle of nowhere. I don't want them go off and get lost somewhere, then not be able to get back home to me.
Now we're settled even further east in a park that has some grass (read that, about 3 feet of grass) and trees between units, but mostly, there is blacktop here. Still, I love to sit at the door and watch for birdies. At least that's what I did yesterday. Today it is cold and miserable, so I'm catching up on my beauty sleep on the upper bunk. I can hear the pitter-patter of the raindrops just above my head, so I'll be the first to know when it stops and can jump down and resume my usual play routine.
My people still have to download pictures of the wildlife in Tacoma, but as I've said before, it's hard to get good people who'll do what they're supposed to! So we'll see how long it takes them.
Until next time, snore-e-e-e.
