Getting Ready to Roll

My new family is preparing to take a long trip by getting rid of extra weight that they've accumulated since they last traveled. I'm not worried, though. I know they are making plans to take me wherever they go because they've bought new toys for me. I think they would be lonesome without me, now, even though they say they weren't in the market for a new kitty. The few pounds I've gained in the month since I came to live with them doesn't seem to bother them at all. Yippee! It looks like I'm a keeper!

My people's last kitty lived to be almost 19 years old, and it would have been hard to find a replacement. They were so heartbroken they didn't even bother to look for a new kitty. In fact, they were thinking of maybe getting a little dog this time. Luckily for them and me, their neighbors in the RV park and I took matters into our own hands (or in my case, paws) and made sure they had a furry little footwarmer with an automatic motor to keep them company on long, cold nights.

We're leaving about the middle of March, and I'll be keeping you posted on where we travel and what we see along the way. Until next time, M-E-O-W...
